Short-term exchanges of groups of students in Alcamo, Sicily

During the week 4-8 October 2021, the pedagogical team from the Regional Directorate of primary and secondary education of the Ionian Islands, the students from the school partners and their accompanying teachers met in Alcamo, Sicily.

Alcamo, a commune of the province of Trapani, rises on a plateau of m. 256, on the slopes of Mount Bonifato, with a population of 42.621. Due to its privileged geographical position, it retains the role of commercial hub between the capital and the west coast of the island. The surrounding landscape, variously harmonized with mountains, hills, plains and sea, is very suggestive.
